What he was able to find out that my Comcast IP address has been blacklisted. Then I called my friend (computer tech) from out of the country who accessed my Mac laptop remotely and looked at a few things. Called Comcast - they said it's the Arris (modem), although I switched the modem. Spoke to Apple - they tried to tweak a few settings - nothing. (That way we were trying to rule out the cause). So we thought it was the router issue - rebooted - nothing. As soon as I switch to LTE (Tmobile or Verizon), or hotspot - everything works with the speed of light! During the past few weeks connection started failing piece by piece: some websites won't load, then printer won't respond, then thermostat, and then finally about half the websites I try to visit and half the apps on the phone (same apps, same websites) stop connecting to the server. I run multiple devices through the network - 4 apple devices, one Dell computer, printer, thermostat, security camera and Sonos sound system (my main network users). So, this is an interesting problem that apparently no on can solve.
